St Werburgh's Church

Dublin 8

Selected Conservation works by Paul Arnold Architects.

St. Werburgh’s is one of the finest mid Georgian churches to survive
in Ireland. The condition of the building had deteriorated over the
years and Paul Arnold Architects were initially commissioned to prepare
a baseline condition survey of the building allowing for strategic
planning of repairs. On foot of this a first phase of conservation
works was undertaken. This prioritised repairs to the sash windows,
renewal of the rainwater goods, stabilisation of the roof structure and
consolidation of the vaulted plaster ceiling over the nave.
